PS2 Classic "Legacy of Kain: Defiance" Now Available For Free From Prime Gaming

The 2003 action-adventure title Legacy of Kain: Defiance is currently available as a free download through Prime Gaming. Originally released for PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC, this game is the fifth installment in the Legacy of Kainseries and allows players to control both Kain and Raziel, two vampires with intertwined destinies. The narrative delves into their complex relationship and the dark, gothic world of Nosgoth.

Upon its initial release, Legacy of Kain: Defiance received mixed reviews. IGN praised its engaging storyline and improved combat mechanics, noting it as “one of the best stories in the series and without a doubt, one of the best combat systems in an action-adventure series.”  Conversely, GameSpot highlighted issues with camera controls and repetitive gameplay, stating that “it’s ultimately a disappointment” despite its “outstanding premise.”

5. Download and Play: Once redeemed, download the game from your GOG library and enjoy.
