Luigi's Mansion Haunts Nintendo Music with Spooky Soundtrack

Ghostly Grooves Arrive on Nintendo Music.
Nintendo has added a welcome touch of ectoplasmic audio to its music streaming service, dropping the entire original soundtrack from the GameCube classic Luigi's Mansion onto the Nintendo Music app this week. Fans of the green-clad plumber's ghostbusting debut can now relive the spooky – and often surprisingly catchy – tunes on their mobile devices.
Released around the 8th of April 2025, the addition brings all 73 tracks from the beloved 2001/2002 title to the platform. This marks a significant moment for GameCube enthusiasts, as Luigi's Mansion is one of the first soundtracks from that console generation to grace the app. The score, composed by the talented Kazumi Totaka and Shinobu Tanaka, perfectly captured the game's blend of gentle horror and quirky charm, from the eerie ambience of the mansion's hallways to the frantic themes accompanying boss battles.

The Nintendo Music app, available free on iOS and Android, acts as a portal to a growing library of the company's video game music. However, there's a catch: you'll need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to actually listen to the tracks. Memberships start from around £3.49 / €3.99 / $3.99 per month or £17.99 / €19.99 / $19.99 per year (prices approximate, please check local Nintendo eShop for exact figures).
This latest update follows additions like F-Zero and continues Nintendo's promise to expand the service, offering subscribers a convenient way to enjoy iconic gaming soundscapes. Whether you fancy humming along with Luigi in the dark or facing down King Boo all over again, the full 56 minutes of Luigi's Mansion audio awaits.
